Real, from this site's Search Console

What the guides on this site earned in their first month: the Welsh Language Standards guide at position 8.5, and the Welsh searches that arrived unasked

This site went live on 4 September 2026 with nine guides in English and their nine Welsh twins. Thirty days later the Search Console numbers are small, as a new site's are, and they say something specific: the guides about Welsh law and Welsh domains were found first, one is on page one, and the Welsh-language pages are reached by searches typed in Welsh that no keyword tool predicted. Every figure on this page is from the property, and the period is stated beside each.

Written by Daniel Stoychev, who wrote the guides and reads the property. Figures from Google Search Console for 4 September to 3 October 2026, read on 6 October. Nothing is rounded up.

The pattern is plain. The three guides Google tried first are the three that answer a question only a Welsh business asks: the Standards, the domains, the need for a Welsh site. The generic guide, no enquiries, sits at position 97 with the whole country's agencies above it. On this site the Welsh-specific question is the one that ranks, and the four guides published on 6 October follow that reading.

The first two rows were in no Keyword Planner export. They arrived because the Welsh pages are real Welsh pages with their own addresses, paired with the English through hreflang, and Google matched them to Welsh searches on its own. The last three are the questions the new guide on who builds Welsh websites is written for, and the bilingual page already sits on page one or two for them.

What is not claimed

And what is next

  • No enquiry on this site is attributed to a guide; the quote form does not ask where the visitor came from, and the numbers are too small to infer it.
  • Position 6.3 on nine impressions, for the grants guide, is not a ranking. It is a page Google showed nine times; the read is in three months.
  • The Welsh pages' first month is a first month. Whether the Welsh searches grow is the question the next report answers.
  • The four guides published on 6 October 2026 enter this table in November, with their own first-month line.
